Pokémon is a Japanese media franchise consisting of video games, animated series and films, a trading card game and other related media. The franchise is set in a shared universe in which humans coexist with creatures known as Pokémon, a wide variety of species with special powers. In the anime series and movies, Ash Ketchum stars with Pikachu. A Pokémon is fantasy creature with magical powers. There are many different species and new ones are still being invented.
