DISNEY’S SENSATIONAL SIX

The Disney universe grew out of the Mickey Mouse short animated films produced by Disney beginning in 1928. Disney quickly added other characters to subsequent films. Audiences are introduced to Mickey’s girlfriend Minnie, his dog Pluto, the hot-tempered Donald Duck and his beloved Daisy and, of course, the lanky Goofy. Together, these world-famous Disney cartoon characters make up what is popularly known as the “Sensational Six.” Over the years, their appearance has been changed several times to suit the spirit of the times; however, their characters remain the same. The Walt Disney Company strictly monitors its characters and how they are used on e.g. Merchandise.

Many unforgettable characters were added to the Disney family in the 100th anniversary of the Walt Disney Company.
