Wand Jacob Kowalski. Beautiful replica of Jacob Kowalski’s wand from the Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts. The wand given to Jacob Kowalski was made of snake wood and was made sometime in or before 1932. This wand was commissioned by Albus Dumbledore so that Jacob Kowalski could blend in and hide more easily, in front of witches and wizards during the Global Wizarding War, since he was a Muggle. Because wands tended to revolt and backfire when held by Muggles, this particular wand had no core and thus was incapable of producing magic, despite looking completely authentic. As such, it was considered a fake wand.
