Lilo adopts him as her “dog” and gives him the name “Stitch.” Stitch, is designed to cause chaos and destruction and initially uses Lilo to avoid capture by an intergalactic federation. They develop a close bond through the Hawaiian concept of Ohana, or family. As a result, Stitch reconsiders his intended destructive purpose in order to keep his new family together. Stitch is one of the most popular Disney characters today, both in the parks and on merchandise. He has a large fan base of loyal fans. The live action movie will be released in 2025.
