On his 11th birthday, he learned that he too had magic powers and was allowed to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Here he met Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.

Together with them, he must complete each school year, but he is thwarted in many ways. In the end, he must face arch-rival Voldemort. Seven books tell the exciting story. The series has become a worldwide phenomenon. The books have since been filmed and has made the many characters immortal Hagrid, Professor McGonagall, Professor Snape, Buckbeak and, of course, Dobby the House Elf.
