KIM POSSIBLE

Kim Possible is a popular Disney Channel animated series from 2002-2007 about a teenage girl who is a cheerleader in high school. In her spare time, she works as a world-famous freelance crime fighter. Kim (voiced by Christy Carlson Romano), known for her motto “I can do anything,” tries to combine her schoolwork, relationships and cheerleading with fighting global threats. She is assisted by her awkward best friend and potential lover Ron Stoppable, his pet, the naked mole rat Rufus, and technical genius Wade. Together, they form “Team Possible” to take on supervillains, most notably mad scientist Dr. Drakken and his sarcastic sidekick Shego.

The series has been praised for its mix of action and comedy, witty dialogue and the way it highlights the challenges of adolescence, combined with heroism at play. Unlike many heroic stories, Kim has no secret identity, making her fame widely known to her classmates and teachers. The series was a huge success for Disney and featured iconic character designs.
