LADY & THE TRAMP

Lady & the Tramp is a 1955 animated film by Walt Disney Studios. It is Disney’s fifteenth major animated film.

A newlywed couple celebrates Christmas at home. Jim, the husband, gives the young cocker spaniel Lady to his wife as a Christmas present. During the following six months, Lady is the center of attention in the home. Also, she becomes friends with Jock and Trusty, two neighborhood dogs.Things change when Jim and his wife expect their first child. Lady now also meets a stray dog, known in the neighborhood only as Tramp. He predicts to her that once the baby arrives, the dog will no longer be important to the family. Tramp seems to be proven right, as Jim and his wife pay markedly less attention to Lady after the birth of their child.

Jim and his wife are going away for a few days as a couple. Sarah, Jim’s elderly aunt, comes to look after the baby in the meantime. Although Sarah adores her new nephew, she doesn’t like Lady at all. Her two cats Si and Am don’t make things any easier, either. When Sarah wants to buy a muzzle for Lady, she runs off. Soon she is chased by a group of stray dogs, but Tramp comes to her rescue. Together they take a tour of the city, with Tramp teaching her things about life on the streets.
