CORPSE BRIDE

Corpse Bride is a stop-motion animated film by Tim Burton about Victor Van Dort, a shy young man who accidentally marries Emily’s corpse in the Land of the Dead after a misunderstanding during wedding rehearsals. The film contrasts the dull, colorless Victorian world of the living with the vibrant, if haunting, Land of the Dead. Victor must find a way to return to his fiancée Victoria, while Emily struggles with her new animation. The story culminates in a confrontation with Emily’s killer and ultimately leads to Emily finding peace, after which Victor and Victoria finally marry.
