TANGLED/RAPUNZEL

Rapunzel Tangled. Tangled is a 2010 Disney film. Mother Gothel kidnaps Princess Rapunzel when she is still a baby. She locks her in a tall tower, where Rapunzel spends her entire childhood with only the tower window with a view. Rapunzel’s blond hair is never cut, which makes it meters long. It even appears to possess magical powers. Rapunzel longs to be able to leave her remote tower someday. Rapunzel has chameleon Pascal to keep her company during her captivity. She accepts the help of an intruder, the bandit Flynn Rider, to take her to a world she has never seen before.

She has 1 wish … she wants to see up close the floating lanterns she always sees on her birthday from her tower. To do so, they must travel closer to the inhabited world where, among other things, the king and queen’s castle stands. On their journey, they must stay out of the hands of soldiers and the overzealous horse Maximus. On the birthday of the missing princess, thousands of floating lanterns are released from the castle and town. Eventually Rapunzel discovers that she is the missing princess….
