PAC-MAN

Pac-Man, released in 1980 by Namco and designed by Toru Iwatani, is an iconic maze-chasing video game that defined a generation. Players control a yellow, round character who eats dots in a maze while dodging four colorful ghosts: Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde. Eating larger “power pellets” turns the ghosts blue, allowing Pac-Man to eat them for bonus points. Originally titled “Puck Man” in Japan, the name was changed for the U.S. release to avoid vandalism.
