Desiderius Dumbledore (born 1883/1884) was a half-blood wizard and the younger brother of Albus, the older brother of Ariana and the biological father of Aurelius. He attended Hogwarts’ School of Witchcraft and Hocus-Pocus between 1895 and 1902. His father – who had been sentenced to prison for attacking three Muggles – died in Azkaban when Desiderius was young. His mother and sister were later accidentally killed. Desiderius blamed his brother Albus for the death of their sister, Ariana, and as a result, their relationship was quite strained. Desiderius was the owner and bartender of the Hog’s Head Inn in Hogsmeade and was a member of the original Order of the Phoenix during the First Wizarding War.

FANTASTIC BEASTS

The Fantastic Beasts film series is a prequel to the Harry Potter saga. The stories revolve around the adventures of magizoologist Newt Scamander in the 1920s and his encounters with magical creatures and dark wizards.
